A nonprofit organization founded in Nouadhibou, working for the city and with its residents through long-term community, educational, environmental, and digital projects.
Who we are
I ❤️ NDB is a nonprofit organization born out of a deep sense of belonging to the city of Nouadhibou, and a wish to turn that belonging into structured, lasting action.
The organization does not work apart from the community, but seeks to be part of it — coordinating efforts and building projects in service of goals shared between residents and city institutions.
It owns and operates the I ❤️ NDB digital platform as one of its main tools for action, alongside other field and educational projects.
A Nouadhibou that is clean, educated, and cooperative, where residents take part in shaping its development and express their sense of belonging through action and giving.
To build, alongside the people and institutions of Nouadhibou, concrete projects in environment, education, community relations, and faith-inspired volunteering and serving the nation, opening real opportunities for individuals and contributing to the city's development.

Every project we build starts from Nouadhibou and ultimately serves Mauritania.
The organization's role
I ❤️ NDB coordinates and develops community, environmental, and educational projects in service of Nouadhibou.
It owns and operates the I ❤️ NDB digital platform as one of its projects, using it as a tool that eases connection with the community, not as a replacement for on-the-ground work.
It seeks to be a link between residents, local institutions, and partners willing to cooperate, turning ideas into projects that can be implemented and sustained.
I ❤️ NDB seeks to contribute to poverty reduction by building skills, improving access to opportunities, supporting local production, and strengthening individual and community capacity.
The Founder
I ❤️ NDB is led by Mohiyidine Cheikh, a Mauritanian-American entrepreneur with more than twenty-five years of work and entrepreneurship between the United States and Mauritania.
After a long career in transportation, services, logistics, import-export, and distribution, he returned to Nouadhibou with a firm belief that experience and knowledge only reach their full value when they turn into real services and opportunities for the city's people. That belief is what gave rise to I ❤️ NDB.
Mohiyidine Cheikh also leads Zidnni AI Max, the organization's official sponsor, through which he applies his expertise in artificial intelligence and digital transformation to support the organization's projects and digitize its services. His leadership mission remains the same: turning international experience into tangible progress that serves Nouadhibou and its people.
Our approach
The organization's projects start from real needs expressed by the community itself, not from outside assumptions about it.
Each project is built in stages — a clear planning phase, then development, then genuine availability to the community — with an honest statement of the stage each project has reached.
Nouadhibou first
Every project of the organization starts from Nouadhibou and serves it first, before any thought of future expansion.
This is a deliberate choice: the organization believes that deep, lasting impact begins with precise knowledge of a single local context, and a long-term commitment to it.
